His Hands

“His Hands is a supportive care program which, through God’s healing love, is dedicated to providing practical support, spiritual aid and encouragement to those touched by cancer.”

His Hands (HH) was created to bring together many informal resources that exist within our congregation, as well as more established programs within the community. HH members (who have been touched by cancer themselves) provide personal, tailored support, information and hope to those dealing with cancer. Some of the services His Hands provides are:

• Support for care receivers, spouses, children, caregivers and family members of those dealing with cancer.
• One-on-one assistance from people who have been touched by cancer themselves.
• “Hope Baskets” specially created and delivered to loved ones who are undergoing cancer treatment.
• Guidance with insurance, decisions about treatment options, doctor recommendations and cancer support organizations.
• A community of hope and love that our congregation can rely on for support through a cancer diagnosis and its’ after effects.

His Hands is made up of a broad cross section of members from our church family who have been touched by cancer and want to reach out in love to those in need.
